设置

- 先接受角色,再进场:登录后先看本周场景,再看你的角色卡,点「我进场 / I’m in」进入聊天室。
Accept your role, then enter: after signing in, read this week’s scenario, then your character card, then tap 「我进场 / I’m in」 to join the chatroom. - 按顺序发言:这是轮流说话的聊天室,一次发一条,等队友说完再接。
Take turns: it is a turn-based chatroom; one message at a time, and wait for teammates before you continue. - 用角色的身份说话:说你的角色会说的话。你的秘密由你决定什么时候、要不要说出来。
Speak as your character: say what your character would say. Your secret is yours to reveal when, or whether, you choose. - 发言用英文:中文只用来查参考翻译,发到聊天室里的要是英文。发送时会检查你的英文。
Messages in English: Chinese is only for the reference translation; what you send to the room must be English. Your English is checked when you send. - 角色是假的,安全是真的:哪怕剧情需要,也不说出你自己的真实全名、学校、地址、电话、微信或 QQ,不约队友在场景外私聊。
The role is pretend, safety is real: even if the plot asks for it, never give your own real full name, school, address, phone, WeChat or QQ, and never arrange private chats outside the scene. - 队友是合作的人:可以在剧情里争论,但不能骂队友本人。
Teammates are partners: characters may argue in the story; insulting the real person is not allowed.
Fees and how to join are on the fee page.
Role Play puts you inside a concrete scenario where you speak English, make decisions and solve a problem. Something is happening in the scene: a team mission, or a tricky moment from school life.
The scenario changes once a week, and roles are assigned once a week too. You are given a character: a name, a task, and sometimes a secret only you know. In the chatroom you speak as that character and take turns with your teammates. The characters in the scene respond to what you say and give support on your English expression and grammar. If you cannot find the English, you can type Chinese first, see a reference translation, and then write it in English yourself.
The page shows “This Week’s Challenge”: this week’s scenario title and setting. You can also read Past Conversations collected from earlier weeks.
A middle-school vocabulary (about 1,200+ words) helps, enough to read the setting and write simple sentences. Perfect grammar is not required; staying in character, speaking up and solving the problem matter more.
One session (the scenario is an example from the school-life set)
- This week’s challenge: Recess & Cafeteria Socializing. Setting: you are a new student looking for a seat at lunch, then trying to join a game on the playground.
- Your character card: New Student; your task is to make one friend and join a game of four-square.
- You want to say “这里有人坐吗”, so you type the Chinese and see a reference: Is anyone sitting here? You write your own: Excuse me, is this seat taken? Can I sit here?
- Tyler, a classmate in the scene, answers: Sure! I’m Tyler. Are you new? You also see a short note: polite sentence, natural use of Excuse me.
- After your teammate’s turn, you continue: Yes, I’m new. Do you guys have room for one more player in four-square? The story moves on.
